Primary and Primary Runoff Winners – Republican and Democratic Primaries

Primary winners in races without a member of the other party in the race have won outright, unless a third party or write-in candidate runs in November. However they will not take office until 2027. Those with an opponent of the other major party will be subject to election in November.

Unofficial results of the May 26 and official results of the March 3 Republican and Democratic Primary Elections are in!

Below are the winners of races in each primary and who they will face in the November Mid-term Elections. Yet to be named are any candidates from one of the political parties that nominates candidates during a nominating convention (like the Libertarian and Green parties do) rather than a party primary.

Runoff candidates without an opponent from the other party or from a nominating convention are the presumptive winners in the November 2026 election.
General Election Candidate for November 3, 2026

Please Note: Some candidates have no one running from the opposing party. If none is shown, the shown candidate is likely to have no opponent in the fall. The exception would be if a minor party convention chooses a candidate to run in that election.

If you voted in one of the primaries, you can only vote in that party's runoff election. Also, anyone who voted in a primary election is not able to vote in a minor party's convention.
